Feast of San Lorenzo
August 10th marks the Feast of San Lorenzo aka Saint Lawrence, one of the seven deacons of the city of Rome under Pope Sixtus II way back when. He’s also the patron saint of cooks and the namesake for our signature restaurant at Hotel Saint Vincent. Throughout Italy, his feast day is an all-day and night event filled with parties, food, plenty of drinks, and even shooting stars.
At Hotel Saint Vincent, we’re throwing our own party celebrating the New Orleans hospitality industry—the people who make New Orleans such a dynamic place to live, visit, and, yes, eat and drink. Join us for a full food spread (including porchetta sandwiches, spinach gnudi, and watermelon—just like they do it in Florence), cocktails and wine, and live music in Chapel Club with the Alexey Marti Quartet.
Wednesday, August 10th beginning at 8 p.m.
Hospitality folks! Email us at email@example.com with your name and affiliation for a special discounted rate. Limited tickets available to the public. All ticket sales will benefit Turning Tables, a non-profit New Orlean-based bar and hospitality training program and mentorship for black and brown bartenders at all stages of their career.
